Our book-a-berth sailing weekends are a fantastic way to get out on the water at a great price as you don't need to find people to share the cost of a yacht. Come on your own or with friends and just book the number of berths you want. We use larger yachts for these trips, so accommodation is in spacious cabins and if the boat is only part full we still sail with a minimum of just three needed to run the boat.

Our trips make full use of a weekend (usually Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) or longer for more remote destinations. So that's at least two days sailing, accommodation on-board throughout, food/drink/snacks on the boat, berthing costs in marinas and yacht fuel. There's something in it for both novice and experienced sailors alike and all are welcome. Each trip is led by a professional sailing instructor and there is plenty of opportunity to get involved so you record the miles in your logbook as you are definitely part of the crew.

We have a choice of target destinations, East or West along the coast perhaps to Brighton or Weymouth and there are more locak trips too. Or perhaps across the Channel to France or the Channel Islands. The destinations are always weather dependent and at the discretion of the skipper (we try not to cross the Channel in fog or with a strong wind warning in force), but if you only want a particular destination that isn't possible for whatever reason, you can either opt out for a full refund or come sailing anyway and try again at a later date for half price by selecting the relevant option under 'Possible discounts'.

There's also a discount for booking with a friend and you'll get a cabin to yourselves. We only need 2 guests (plus the skipper) to make a trip viable, but if you are ultimately the only person booked, we will refund any monies paid and offer you 50% off your next booking to say sorry.
And if you have a special diet, we give you a small reduction to cover the cost of you bringing some of your own food.
